Edith learned Peruvian folklore at the Centro Folklorico del Magisterio in Peru. She was a dancer and performer for the Talent Club at ICPNA (Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano) where she trained in Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary Dance.
Upon relocating to the United States she studied African and Brazilian dance at Djonibas Dance and Drum Centre in Manhattan and trained in Ballet and Jazz at Broadway Dance Center.
She has danced and served as a teaching artist for the Connecticut Ballet Center, conductor World of Dance assembly performances in all schools Districts, hosting outreach classes at residential treatment facilities, schools and community centers.
Edith has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Dollywood with the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company.
She received an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from Housatonic Community College.
