Elizabeth Joseph is currently the Coordinator of Information & Adult Services at the Ferguson Library where she oversees all aspects of adult services, programs and collections. Elizabethalso manages the Stamford small business resource center and is the lead organizer of Stamford 1 Million cups, a monthly program developed by the Kauffman Foundation that connects entrepreneurs to the larger community. Elizabeth was selected and recognized by Library Journal as a 2015 Mover and Shaker for her work with the small business community. Prior to the position at the Ferguson Library, Elizabeth worked at several urban library systems in New York including the New York Public Library.
Elizabeth serves on several other local nonprofits including the Jackie Robinson Park of Fame as well as the Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
She received a BA from City College of New York in English Literature with minors in Latin American Studies and Communications Film & Video. Elizabeth also has a Masters in Library and Information Studies from Queens College.
Elizabeth lives in Port Chester, NY with her family.
