Amy Greenberg

Reading Group Facilitator

Amy Greenberg is a special and general educator (ages birth to age 8) certified in NYS and Ct. For the past 20+ years, she has provided services to children in their homes, classrooms, and community settings. Amy places a high priority on partnering with families; helping her students maximize their abilities to relate, communicate, and think; and engaging children with books as a way to discover the world around them as well as the world inside them. Prior to becoming an educator, Amy ran a public relations business in New York City, where she was born and raised. Previously, she worked as an actor and acting teacher, primarily in NYC, but also at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and on the summer stock circuit.

Amy writes a humor and inspiration blog born out of the COVID pandemic and now extending to parenting articles, holiday tips, and poetry. https://ugottalaff.com/. She holds a BA (English/Fine Art) from Brooklyn College, an MA (English) from New York University, and an MA (Education) from Bank Street College. A Stamford resident, Amy lives in Glenbrook with her husband, artist Don Perley, and their two fur babies, Fluffypuss and Peekaboo.
