Cinthya Perez-Martel
Socioemotional and Literacy Coach
Cinthya is an early childhood teacher and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She works for the Norwalk Public Schools system and at the Horizons Summer Academy as a 4th – grade teacher. Prior to this, she worked with the FLEX afterschool program, through the Stamford Public schools. She has over four years of special education experience and broad knowledge of individualized learning strategies, working with children with Individualized Education Program and 504 plans, autism disorder, mood disorder, and ADHD.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education from Charter Oak State College and is currently enrolled in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Master’s program at Grand Canyon University.
