Juan Carlos Gomar

Juan Carlos was born in Mexico City and belongs to the third generation of a musical family. His grandparents and uncles played the violin, guitar, chirimía (a Latin American shawm), drums, and bass. He moved to the United States in 1997 and currently works for Fapco Landscaping.

Juan Carlos is the father of two children, Valeria and Gael, who joined INTEMPO since the inaugural children’s choir was launched in 2013-2014 and currently play the violin. He is a member of St. Joseph’s church in Norwalk, Connecticut, where he resides.

He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as playing soccer in his spare time. He aspires to learn the guitar.
