Robbin Juris

Director of Development

Robbin Juris has had a multifaceted career as a magazine editor, artist, and non-profit board member. After studying English literature at Brooklyn College and Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, she became an assistant editor at the Journal of Basic Writing, an academic publication that focused on the teaching of writing to college students. She went on to become an associate editor at Computer Decisions magazine, where she wrote in-depth feature articles on mainframe computing and IT practices. From there, she joined PC Magazine, the preeminent magazine of its kind, where she became an associate editor in charge of the editorial side of large-scale testing and evaluation projects, and then senior editor in charge of the news department.

It was at PC Magazine that she developed an interest in applying digital technology and techniques to the art of printmaking. An award-winning artist, she has exhibited her prints nationally and internationally at IPCNY (International Print Center New York), Christie’s New York, the New York Hall of Science, Boston Printmakers North American Print Biennial, Connecticut’s Discovery Museum, Saxion University in the Netherlands, Westport Arts Center, and Center for Contemporary Printmaking, among others. She served on the board and is a past-president of Treetops Chamber Music Society in Stamford, Connecticut, where she lives with her husband and two sons.
