Stephanie Martinez, a seasoned professional in accounting, grant writing, and project management, originally comes from Stamford, CT. She graduated with a degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington and has demonstrated expertise as a Corporate Senior Accountant at Gerald Metals, where she successfully managed a multi million-dollar company audit. Stephanie brings a nuanced skill set, leveraging advanced financial knowledge, grant writing proficiency, and effective project management.
Holding an Accounting Certificate from Norwalk Community College, Stephanie is well-equipped to contribute as a finance committee member at INTEMPO, bringing valuable financial insights and program coordination skills.
Stephanie shares a unique bond with INTEMPO, having initially interned at the organization eight years ago. Recently, she returned with a sense of dedication, now volunteering to further contribute to INTEMPO's mission.
In her recent role as an INTEMPO volunteer, Stephanie proactively identified networking and grant-making opportunities, conducted research for fundraising opportunities, and led the ongoing development of an internal grant database.
Beyond her professional commitments, Stephanie finds inspiration in the creative realms of pottery, drawing, and oil painting. She also enjoys attending live music events, traveling, and trying new cuisines.
