Whitney is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic. She is currently a Cinema and Theater Costume Design student at the University of North Carolina, School of Fine Arts. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design from the Chavon University School of Design in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Whitney joined INTEMPO as its first violin student in 2014 and also received the first mentoring and family advocacy services from the organization. In her summers, she has volunteered at INTEMPO’s Summer Music Camp at Roxbury. Whitney brings the youth and alumni voice into INTEMPO’s program design and student-centered priorities.
